Observant fans have noticed a growing physical distance between Ben and Jennifer in recent weeks. Notably, the actor was conspicuously absent from the Met Gala on May 6, an event where Jennifer held a prominent role as co-chair. Although Ben cited commitments to filming The Accountant 2 as the reason for his absence, In Touch’s source contends that he has “decided to call it quits” on his marriage to the A-list singer.
“Focusing on his work and his kids now,” adds the insider. “Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
A persistent challenge in their relationship was their differing approaches to public scrutiny, with Jennifer embracing the limelight while Ben preferred to retreat from it.
