We’ve all been in awkward situations at some point. Luckily, that embarrassing feeling doesn’t last long, especially when we realize that everyone goes through these moments. It turns out, awkward situations aren’t always that bad!

 

 

The Stories:

1.) Today my husband and I decided to split up the house chores. So it was his turn to wash the dishes. He opened the tap, wet his hands, closed the tap, dried his hands, took the car keys and left. He came back with a dishwasher.

 

 

2.) I’m a hairdresser. Today, a client came in and showed me with gestures that he was deaf and mute. Luckily, I know some basic sign language and tried to communicate with him. Unable to keep up the act, he finally said aloud, “My plan failed. Just cut my hair quietly.”

3.) After a fight, my wife decided to get back at me by wrapping her sneakers in foil instead of my usual sandwich, and I took them to work.”

4.) I was celebrating New Year’s in Rio de Janeiro to see the amazing beach fireworks. Just before midnight, I went back to the hotel to get my camera and got stuck in the elevator until 3 AM. Happy New Year!”

5.) I’m allergic to seawater, and I’ve lived in Tahiti my whole life.”

6.) Today, I had a sudden urge to buy my wife flowers. She accepted them with tears in her eyes, saying, ‘Darling, you didn’t forget.’ I still don’t know what she meant, but at least I avoided trouble!”

7.) I told my boss she made a mistake in the schedule because there’s no February 29th this year. She seriously asked, ‘So, is Tuesday followed by Thursday this year?’”

8.)On December 24th, I was driving home to celebrate Christmas with my family. The snowstorm was intense, and I got stuck on the road. I thought I’d spend Christmas alone in my car. As my car was covered in snow, someone knocked on the window. It was a guy stuck behind me. He got into my car with some burgers and two Cokes. Even in tough times, there can be happy endings!
