Kim Kardashian shares emotional video of moment she failed law exam after ‘pathological liar’ psychics told her she would

The reality TV star shared a video showing the moment she found out that she had not passed the bar exam.

Kim Kardashian revealed the moment that she found out she hadn’t passed the bar exam in an emotional clip posted to her social media.

The reality TV star, who plays a hotshot divorce lawyer in the new legal drama All’s Fair, has had hopes of becoming a lawyer for some six years, following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian.

But her hopes were once again dashed after she failed the challenging California bar exam, which prospective lawyers are required to pass to be allowed to practice law in the state.

As you might expect for an exam to become a lawyer, it is necessarily very challenging, and Kim revealed that she had studied for ‘four months straight’ and had been throwing herself into it completely in her attempt to pass.

Unfortunately, she did not meet the required grade to pass, and was left dejected, as well as furious at one group of people in particular.

In a voice note to friends while she was getting ready, she said: “I’m just letting you guys know that all these f**king psychics that we have met with and that were obsessed with, are all f**king full of sh*t.”

She added: “They’ve all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was going to pass the bar. So they’re all full pathological liars, don’t believe anything they say.”

Recalling her months of gruelling study, she said in a video on her Instagram: “I’ve been studying for four months straight, canceled all work, don’t take any work calls, I don’t really do anything except for being a mom and studying.”

Kim has had a years-long journey to pass the bar exam, having previously passed the easier ‘baby bar’ exam.

“I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying – the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she captioned her social media post.

“On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end,” she added.

“This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”

But she was clear in her Instagram stories that she is not giving up, writing in her Instagram story: “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar.

“No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”

She will be able to have another crack at the exam in California in February 2026, and will need to score at least 1390 to pass it.

“Falling short isn’t a failure – It’s fuel,” she said. “I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!”
