A surprise visit: Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shares new photos with husband and baby boy at work

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just gave followers a rare peek into her personal life.

Karoline Leavitt the youngest press secretary ever, shared heartwarming photos of her family visiting her at work, but it was a subtle background detail that stole the spotlight.

On Tuesday, Leavitt took to Instagram to post sweet moments from a visit by her husband, Nicholas Riccio, and their eight-month-old son, Niko, to the White House.

Dressed in the same baby blue suit she wore during that day’s press briefing, Leavitt beamed as she held her baby and posed alongside Riccio, who wore a classic navy striped suit.

The Instagram carousel was captioned simply: “Visiting mama at work.” Another photo shared on her Instagram Story showed Leavitt cradling Niko in front of a desk and mirror, his reflection adding an extra touch of charm.

“My sweet sweet boy,” she wrote in the Story.

But while fans flooded the comments with admiration for the young family, many were quick to notice two intriguing items posted on the corkboard in the background of one of the shots.

A Closer Look at the Background

Behind Leavitt and her baby in the Instagram Story image, fans spotted two framed New York Post covers pinned to a bulletin board—along with two handwritten motivational notes, both appearing to be on official White House stationery.

One note read:

“You are strong and brave!”

The other offered a playful boost of confidence:

“Slay the briefing day away!”

The origin of the notes remains unknown, but the supportive messages charmed followers, many of whom praised the behind-the-scenes look at the press secretary’s workspace.

Another small yet charming detail captured attention online: baby Niko was only wearing one sock in the family photo taken outside the White House.

The image prompted amused reactions, with fans finding the missing sock moment endearing and relatable for parents everywhere.

A Glimpse Into Leavitt’s Private Life

This family moment follows another personal update shared by Leavitt just weeks earlier—wedding photos from her January 2025 nuptials to Riccio, a real estate entrepreneur 32 years her senior.

While Leavitt had initially kept their relationship private, she’s since begun opening up publicly. Speaking on a recent podcast, she acknowledged that their relationship was “atypical,” but explained that they were introduced by mutual friends and quickly formed a connection.

The couple got engaged in December 2023 and welcomed their son, Niko, on July 10, 2024, just months before Leavitt was appointed White House press secretary under President Donald Tru
