In 1993, This Boy Was Born With Enough Skin For A Five-Year-Old.

Many touching tales have warmed our hearts over the years, but the one about Tomm Tennent is unique.

Tomm was born with too much skin on him. In fact, rather than covering a baby, he had enough skin on a 5-year-old child. The doctors said they had never seen anyone like him when he was delivered because of how wrinkled he was.

When he emerged, I was really surprised. “I never imagined a human, or a small child, could look like that,” Tomm’s father, Geoff Tennent, said in a 2003 interview with 60 Minutes Australia. The Tennent family experienced a lot growing up with their special kid from the day of his birth, but it’s difficult not to cry when you see him now.The family knew Tomm would be unique from the moment he was born in 1993.
