At 67, I knew I wasn’t as young as I once was, but I had always believed in my inner and outer beauty. The very next day after my perfect facade, I executed my plan. It started like any other day. I made him breakfast, kissed him goodbye as he left for work, and waited patiently. Next, I contacted our bank and froze our joint accounts. I had already set up my own account and transferred a substantial amount into it. He was left with nothing. I also filed for divorce and requested full ownership of our house, citing his infidelity as the cause. Given the evidence, I had a strong case, and my lawyer assured me that things were in my favor.

Martin was left speechless, his life crumbling around him. The man who thought he could control me, belittle me, and betray me was now a shell of his former self. My children supported me wholeheartedly, shocked by their father’s actions but proud of my strength and resolve.
