The world’s heaviest woman is no longer recognizable.

Pauline Potter, once dubbed the world’s heaviest woman at 678 pounds, shocked many with her extreme diet—six scrambled eggs, half a pound of bacon, four hash browns, six slices of buttered bread, and an ice cream milkshake for breakfast.

She appeared on Season 3 of My 600-Lb. Life in 2015.

Cared for by her son Dillon, Pauline’s health and lifestyle were dire. Though she underwent gastric surgery, she later struggled with a painkiller addiction, saying, “The doctor fixed our stomachs, but he didn’t fix our minds.”

After a near-fatal infection and further surgery, Pauline recommitted to her health, eventually losing over 500 pounds. By 2022, she proudly shared that she had reached 223 pounds and regained her independence.

Today, Pauline appears healthier and more confident, with supportive messages flooding her social media. Her transformation continues to inspire fans of the show and others on similar journeys.
