Russia occupied the plant, which is on Ukrainian territory, shortly after the invasion began in February 2022.
Its six reactors have been shut down, and no nuclear activity was recorded on Sunday.

“Currently, radiation levels are within normal limits,” Zelensky said.
“As long as Russian terrorists maintain control of the nuclear power plant, the situation is not and cannot be normal.”

Zelensky added that since the day they took control, Russia has used it to blackmail Ukraine and the entire world.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated that it had been informed of a drone attack in one of the plant’s areas, but it had not affected nuclear safety.
